Seminar: Whose Invention is it?
Aug 20: JMB, Fa©tor & Co. in conjunction with the Comparative Legal Research Center of Ono Academic College, and with sponsorship from WIPO, are proud to announce a seminar entitled "Whose Invention is it? The Employer's or the Employee's?"  The seminar will take place from 5:00-8:30 p.m. on Sunday September 6, 2009. Speakers include IP Guru Prof. Jeremy Phillips, Former Israel Accountant General Yaron Zelekha and Former Israel Chief Scientist Hagai Meser Yaron. Cleantech Seminar in Ono
Jul 07: JMB, Factor & Co. and Ono Academic College's IP at Work initiative headed by Dr. Shlomit Yanitzky Ravid, held an IP Seminar focusing on Cleantech. Jeffery Rothenberg, the Managing Partner of the Albany, NY- based law firm of Heslin Rothenberg Farley & Mesiti P.C., delivered an address summarizing the trends of Cleantech patenting in the US. The firm has a dedicated Cleantech Group that publishes the leading quarterly Cleantech patenting report.
Ben-David on Jordanian Refusal to Represent Israeli Clients
Jun 22: JMB, Factor & Co.'s Managing Partner Jeremy Ben-David was interviewed on Israel's Army Radio (Galei Zahal) in early June after it was reported that Jordanian patent attorneys refused to represent Israeli clients. Ben-David discussed the significance of their refusal.
Jun 22: JMB, Factor & Co. provides travel grants to law students at Israel's Ono College who are interested in attending the WIPO seminar in Geneva, Switzerland. The grants are in memory of Basil Hyde who worked at JMB & Co., 2000-2004. 
May 06: A seminar on the economic aspects of IP was hosted by JMB, Fa©tor & Co. at the Ono Academic College Law School. The closed event featured presentations by Jeremy Ben-David, Managing Partner of JMB, Fa©tor & Co.; Dr. Elad Harison, Consultant; and Dr. Michael Factor, Partner, JMB, Fa©tor & Co. Representatives from some of Israel's leading companies attended, including Israel Aircraft Industries, NICE Systems, Marvell, Orbotech, Teva, and Sandisk.
May 06: JMB, Fa©tor & Co. and Ono Academic College hosted a seminar on the changing face of IP and IP enforcement in China. The guest speaker was Aaron Hurwitz, a China-based IP lawyer.  The event attracted 50 participants.
May 01: The Israel Patent Office moved to new premises in Jerusalem’s Malcha High Tech Park.
